Approval of final plat for Morgan Ridge

Todd Kisel, Risk Management Consultant, Texas Association of Counties (TAC) gave a presentation Monday morning at Commissioners Court of Bell County on the Risk Control Reimbursement Program.  TAC has available $30,000 for reimbursement for the purchase of safety equipment for Bell County. No action was taken on the motion and will be discussed at a later date.
The motion was carried on Final Plat Approval of “Morgan Ridge Estates.” The property which is owned by Sherry Morgan and Jason and Lisa Shatto is located on a privately maintained road, Morgan Drive which is located off Hartick Bluff located within the City of Temple.
Transportation service providers to include Ameristat and Cedar Crest were approved to transport a person to a mental health facility. This is an effort to help the county save money and is for persons that are insured and will be covered to get care at mental health facilities.
Dave Hall, Department Director, Bell County Communications presented a contract for the annual maintenance renewal of the Cisco Smartnet Equipment for the county communications and 9-1-1 services. The motion was carried for the contract renewal in the amount of $59,332.64.
Approval of the 2016-2017 members of the Bell County Historical Commission was passed unanimously. The motion was also carried on the approval of LG Facility Solutions contract for assistance and guidance on capital projects.
Motion was carried for the approval of a $29,500.00 contract for Allen & Company Environmental Services for remediation service at Central Jail Administration Office.
