The All American ProRodeo Finals presented by Pendleton Whisky completed its fourth night of the seven-day run in Waco, Texas. This competition is where the Nation’s best rodeo contestants rope and ride their way to the top of the competition. The top-ranked 30 cowboys and cowgirls in the All American ProRodeo Series standings in each event who qualified (by competing in at least 30 All American ProRodeo Series rodeos during the 2015 season) advanced to the finals in Waco.
Results for Tuesday, October 14, are as follows:
Bareback Riding – Tye Breuer (81), Tyler Scales (77) and Cody Joe Zibor (73)
Tie Down Roping – Shane Hanchey (7.1), Cody McCartney (9.1) and Morgan Grant (9.2)

The 2015 Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo presented by H-E-B wrapped up on Saturday, October 17 with an amazing ten-day run of beautiful sunshine. This event continues to be a family tradition for area residents. Overall gate attendance was up 11 percent from 2014 with 191,178 patrons in attendance during the 10-day event. On Sunday, the Fair experienced a record gate attendance of more than 8,800 in paid gate admission.
Attendees at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo enjoyed great live entertainment on the Bud Light Music Stage and the Hometown Stage as well as various Midway rides, carnival games, food and drinks, livestock show, Creative Arts exhibits, academic rodeo, Wild West Marketplace and more.
“It was everything we expected and more than we hoped for,” stated Wes Allison, President/CEO of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. “In addition to the increase in attendance, both the carnival and concessions are showing strong gains. The community and volunteer support for the Fair and Rodeo was readily apparent this year and we are very grateful.”
