Matthew Gunter is at a new business that just opened on December 11, 2015 in downtown Belton, Gunter Financial Partners. Gunter Financial Partners is ready to help clients with financial planning in all stages.

“My father, brother-in-law and I were all with Edward Jones. We have now all partnered together to form our own independent firm, Gunter Financial Partners,” said Matthew Gunter. “We are offering securities through Raymond James Financial Services, a large broker/ dealer based in St. Petersburg, Florida.”

Gunter grew up in Belton and was a graduate of Belton High School. Watching his father and his clients over the years, was a factor in helping Gunter decide to be in the same business as his father. He joined him at Edward Jones, they were in separate offices without the ability to actually work together.

“Here at at Gunter Financial Services, we are able to collaborate using my father’s thirty years of experience and my ten years of industry experience. My Certified Financial Planner and my brother-in-law’s new age technology background, we are able to offer a more comprehensive approach to planning for our clients,” commented Gunter.

The majority of Gunter Financial Group’s customers are from Bell County and they also serve clients hailing from many other states as well. Gunter Financial Group is able to work with all different ranges of people from setting up college accounts for young children to helping early investors get started. From helping people transition into retirement years and generating income in their retirement to helping create a legacy for their heirs, there is a service available for all stages of life.

“We have six family members working here. Our client services manager is Nancy Nash, and she worked with us previously at Edward Jones. And Carol Blackwell, who previously worked with my father for twenty-eight years,” said Gunter.
Gunter Financial Group has the capabilities to serve all different kinds of investors from those just getting started to multi-millionaires who are sophisticated investors.
