Stephanie Paige Halbert of Round Rock and David Bryan James of Austin were wed June 22 at 7 p.m. at Cimarron Hills Country Club in a double ring ceremony with Kirk Wooldridge, uncle of the bride, officiating. Music was provided by Hyde Park Strings Quartet of Austin and soloists Sharon Hoisager of Arlington and Shelly Wooldridge, aunts of the bride.
Stephanie is the daughter of James and Susan Halbert of Burnet. David is the son of Jim and Sharon James of Temple.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero gown adorned with intricate lace detail and tulle, featuring an elegant Swarovski beaded belt at the natural waist with a sweetheart neckline. The bride was given away by her parents.
Ashley Jean Stephens of Temple and Dr. Andrew Lloyd Morrow of Morgan’s Point Resort were wed Aug. 3 at 2 p.m. with Reverend John Heckmann officiating at St. Paul Lutheran Church in The Grove.
Ashley is the daughter of James and Angela Stephens of Temple. Andrew is the son of James and Faye Morrow of Morgan’s Point Resort.
Glynis Akins of Salado and Daniel Clark of Austin were wed Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Salado in a double ring ceremony with Rev. Andy Davis and Rev. Ferris Akins, grandfather of the bride, officiating.
Glynis is the daughter of Rick and Suzanne Akins of Salado. Daniel is the son of Ronnie and Margo Clark of Granbury.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a Justin Alexander ivory gown with sheer Venice lace Sabrina neckline accents the sweetheart neckline with pleated regal satin sash at the waist, textured lace trumpet skirt and chapel length train.
Lauren Marie Sanders of Belton and John Dustin Marx of Academy were wed Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Texas Early Day Tractor & Engine Association Showgrounds in a double ring ceremony with Mark Blau officiating.
Lauren is the daughter of Steven and Roxanne Sanders of Belton. Lauren graduated from Belton High School and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She majored in psychology and minored in special education. She’s employed with Belton ISD as the special education teacher and head girls golf coach. The bride was given away by her father.
John is the son of John and Belynda Marx of Academy. John is a graduate of Academy High School and Temple College. He majored in computer-aided design. He’s employed with SpaceX as a contractor.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Old Jody’s given by the bridegroom’s parents.
