The Tigers’ bats woke up in a big way in the fourth inning. Trey Bell’s two-run double highlighted the seven-run inning. Bledsoe, Kendall, Xavier Haines and Remington Lutz all had single runs batted in during the inning to make the score 8-3 after four innings.

Wallace struck out four batters in the middle innings to set up another pair of offensive rallies with the JV Red’s second team, sandwiched around two Roo runs in the sixth inning. Connor Mees, Jeremy Jones and Dawson Lowry had runs batted in during the fifth inning. Tyler Rhea had an RBI in the bottom of the sixth and Jones hit a walkoff double to plate the mercy-rule run.
