Magic Belles compete at Marching Auxiliaries North Texas Regional Competition

The Belton High School Varsity Magic Belles competed in the Marching Auxiliaries North Texas Regional Competition at Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas on February 27.   The Magic Belles received “Super Sweepstakes” Award in both Team and Officer Categories.  The Team achieved First Place for their Novelty and Kick routines.  The Team was recognized by receiving the “Judges Award” in choreography and technique for their Jazz, Pom, Kick and Novelty routines.  They received the “Judges Circle Award” by placing 6th overall out of 66 teams (including studios).
The Line Officers of the Magic Belles received “Super Sweepstakes” Award and obtained “Judges Award” in choreography and technique for the Jazz, Modern and Open routines.
The Hip Hop Company, classified as a large ensemble, compiled of Varsity team members performing, received first place.
Jasmine Peng, was 4th runner up in the High School Solo 17-18 category with over 34 competitors (including studios).
The next appearance for the Magic Belles will be at the Showtime International Dallas Grand Finale contest in Lewisville on March 5th before heading to the HTE Nationals competition in San Antonio on April 1 and 2.
The Magic Belles are under the direction of Rachel Hill, who is assisted by Marla Moore.
