Martinez, Dippel, Knight lead District 12-6A superlatives

The Belton Lady Tigers’ soccer team had plenty of representation on the 2015 District 12-6A Inaugural All-District Team.
Aubrey Martinez, the Lady Tigers’ leading scorer with 32 goals in 2015, was named District 12-6A’s Overall Most Valuable Player.
Courtney Dippel, the Lady Tigers’ goalkeeper with the most wins and shutouts in Belton Lady Tigers’ soccer history, was the Most Valuable Goalkeeper in District 12-6A.
Belton head coach Wendy Knight and Midway head coaches Bill Sharp and Amber Davisson were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
First Team District 12-6A members from Belton were defenders Emma Villamaria, Erica Anderson, Lexi Mack, midfielder Jamie Brown and forward Mattie Krenek.
Second Team District 12-6A members from Belton were midfielders Alison Navarro, Emily Navarro, midfielder/defender Caroline Stegall, forward Tiarra Hodges and defender Sara Villamaria.
Honorable Mentions for Belton were forward Cynthia Ledezma and defender Emma Stinson.
