The evening will consist of dinner, dancing, live entertainment and other fun that has to do with Valentine’s Day. Almost everyone who attends will receive a door prize which has been donated by the members of Auxiliary. There will also be a silent auction with more than 40 themed baskets and also 10 live auction travel and entertainment packages. Many local and national businesses helped by donating to the event.

During the evening, one of five firefighter finalists will be crowned and awarded as the Morgan’s Point Resort Auxiliary Valentine Sweetheart of the year.
The Auxiliary is a group of men and women who help raise funds to support the local Morgan’s Point Resort Fire Department. There are different projects throughout the year that help buy equipment and offset the cost of training to benefit the Fire Department and First Responders at Morgan’s Point Resort.
Karen Stagner coordinates and cooperates with a large group of generous Auxiliary and Fire Department volunteers who make the event happen and make it successful. Leading Teams for this year’s Valentine Fireman’s Ball are: Sharla Adams – Live and Silent Auctions; Jennifer Wilson – Table Decorations; Cindy Capps, Auxiliary President – Door Prizes; Valentine Sweetheart – Rebekah Tatum; Heather Bankhead – Sponsorships and Rita Baker – Registration.
The event is open to the public and the dress attire is evening casual – it’s blue jeans to bling – your choice. Registration Form available at: www.morganspointresorttx.com. Questions: 254-780-9424.
