Morgan’s Point Resort is one step closer to opening another new subdivision with the approval by the MPR Zoning Commission of a 20 acre subdivision planned at the intersection of Sobrante Road and Morgan’s Point Road.
There was a public hearing concerning the application with no comments made. The tract of land is in the David Compton Survey, Abstract No. 210.
There will be 32 homes constructed in the subdivision with the driveways facing inward away from Sobrante. The lots are .05 acres in size with the homes upscale in construction. The developer also agreed to construct an 8-foot sidewalk along Morgan’s Point Road adjacent to the property.
This is the second new subdivision planned or starting in MPR this year. The final approval will go to the MPR city council, possibly this month.
