Special to the Journal

Project Celebration is for the graduating Seniors of Belton High School occurring the night of graduation. It provides a safe, fun and memorable night in an alcohol-and-drug-free environment.  This year’s event will take place at Peaceable Kingdom, a 120- acre retreat on the Lampasas River in Killeen. Funds raised will provide food, drink, prizes and entertainment.
As part of their fundraising efforts, Project Celebration is excited to offer an online benefit auction to support the event.
Anyone may participate by donating new or gently used items, or by purchasing items that are listed in the auction.  The auction is through Eddy Lange and Associates Auctioneers and went live February 25 and will close on March 25 at 6 p.m.
Donors may drop their items off at Lange Auction, 4970 East Business 190, Heidenheimer, Tx., Tuesday through Friday, 9-4 p.m. The last day to drop off or donate items is March 16.
Interested parties may visit Belton Project Celebration’s Facebook page regarding desirable and less desirable items.  There are many more items that can be donated, so donors are encouraged to use their imagination! Businesses may donate gift certificates or merchandise. The contact person for this auction is  Darla Lowe Middleton, phone number 718-4324, email address
Project Celebration seeks to provide a well-deserved recognition of the students’ accomplishments and hard work, which is only made possible by the support and generosity of families, friends and businesses in Bell County. Visit regularly to see the awesome items donated.
