A memorial service for Raymond Burton Hart II, 72, of Arlington, was held at The Belton Lighthouse Church with Pastor Ray Featherston officiating.
Raymond “Ray” Burton Hart II died on July 11 at home in Arlington, TX after suffering complications from Alzheimer’s Disease. Ray died peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side.
Ray was born in Montgomery Alabama on November 28, 1943 to Raymond Burton Hart and Minnie Marie Showalter Hart.
Ray graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from Michigan State University. After graduating and living in several states Ray moved to Los Angeles, Ca. where he had the opportunity to use his master craftsmanship to work in the homes of numerous Hollywood stars and to also build several movie sets.
Ray leaves his wife of seven years, Wanda Armstrong Hart of Arlington.
Sons Ray Hart III and wife Laura of Hackleburg, Al. David Armstrong of Belton.
Kris Armstrong and wife Amy of Belton, Steve Armstrong of Mansfield and Danny Armstrong, of Euless, daughters Hilary Hart Medellin and husband Rodney of Pasadena and Ramona Deane of Belton. 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
