At 2:05 am on Aug. 5 Harker Heights Police Department officers responded to the Cefco located in the 500 block of East FM 2410 (Knights Way) for a shots fired call.
A 31-year-old male subject was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the arm.
A 24-year-old male was located across the street and subsequently taken into custody as the suspect. The incident is believed to be the result of a “road rage” incident that started in to 200 block of East FM 2410.
The victim in the shooting incident was treated at Seton Medical Center and released.
The suspect remains in custody at this time with charges pending.
The names of all involved are being withheld at this time.
This incident is currently under investigation.
