Power. Grace. Speed. Jumping Ability.
Have we already covered power?
Belton High School graduate McKinzee Robinson has all of it covered and will be a huge asset to Temple College this fall.
The former Lady Tiger and current TC freshman collected a match-high 17 kills and five blocks to go along with seven digs to help the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Red team defeat the FCA Blue team in four sets at Waco University High School. The scores of the sets were 25-15, 18-25, 25-18 and 25-23.
“This is great,” Robinson said. “It is a really good feel to be named MVP. I just wanted to work hard for my team because we developed a really good connection.”
She had formed good friendships on the squad, built around solid chemistry.
“I just wanted to work hard for my team because we developed a really good connection,” Robinson said. “There was a lot of positivity on this team, and that just made me want to play even better.”
Ever the competitor, Robinson was focused on a win for her Red team.
“I just didn’t want to lose,” Robinson said. “I was just thinking ‘we have to win.’ It’s hard for me not to be serious, because this is a game, and I’m really competitive.”
