The Belton Tiger Tennis team held their 3rd Annual Tennis-A-Thon at the Belton High School Tennis Courts overnight last Friday.
The annual fundraiser goes to support the tennis team and a quarter of the funds raised were donated to the Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation. This year, the team raised over $9,000 in their efforts.
The team played tennis games, such a frying pan tennis, golden ticket and others for a great cause.
“This was an amazing fundraiser that raised over $9,000 dollars,” Belton head coach James Stinson said. “All players had a great time playing unusual tennis games and competing against each other.”
The 2016-2017 Belton Team Tennis season will start in August.
