Tiger THREE shoots 322, good for runner-up at Lampasas HS Invitational

The Belton Tigers boys golf program participated in the 2016 Lampasas High School Invitational Tournament, played at Hancock Park in Lampasas, with Tiger THREE and Tiger FOUR flights getting the nod.
Tiger THREE carded a 322, good for a solid second place finish overall. Round Rock took first place with a total of 312.
Logan Hoelscher, Tiger THREE’s top finisher, carded a 75 earning a bronze medal for third overall.
Nathaniel Woods shot 77, good for a fifth-place tie overall. Both he and Hoelscher made the All-Tournament Team
Jayden Weaver carded an 84 (Tied for 21st), Bryan Cathey shot 86 (Tied for 26th) and Ty Sanderford shot 88 (Tied for 32nd) to round out Tiger THREE.
Hank Payne led Tiger FOUR with an 84 (Tied for 21st) to help the flight to a 10th place finish. Tyler Vincent finished with a 93 (Tied for 44th), while Jacob Holley and Joey Stroup each carded 97’s (Tied for 60th) to finish out Tiger FOUR’s team scorecard.
Tiger THREE and Tiger FOUR each return to action Feb. 11 at Clear Creek Golf Club at Fort Hood for the Ellison/Shoemaker Spring Invitational.
Tiger ONE returns to action Feb. 12 and 13 at Wolfdancer and Colovista for the Dodson-Evans Memorial Tournament in Bastrop.
