Chamber announces hiring of new staff member
Special to the Journal
The Belton area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the hiring of a new staff member, with Tracy Conoley joining the team as of Monday, Oct 2.
Conoley was the chamber’s 2019 Ambassador of the Year, and is also a graduate of Leadership Belton, Class of 2019.
“Tracy is well acquainted with chamber activities and needs and is well equipped to help us serve our members and community,” said Randy Pittenger President of the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Tracy will be doing a variety of jobs at the chamber. Her focus will be member services. Conoley graduated from Belton High School in 2008 and worked in a variety of customer services positions and marketing. She spent time working at Fairway Mortgage and Gail Force Web Pros.
She started out working for Fairway in marketing then moved on to property management at Sunburst Realty.
“I don’t mind working behind a desk. Just not all the time. I am not just a behind the counter type of person. I am a talker and knowing a lot of people in the community should be an asset to the chamber. Randy has handled the complexities of working with the community. He is one of the people that has been and is a mentor to me. Growing up watching his commitment to the community has rubbed off on me. I want other people to have the opportunities I have been given. I would not be here if it wasn’t for the good people who have assisted me in life,” said Conoley.
