Bell County Commissioners Court meeting was held Monday at the Historic Bell County Courthouse and via livestream.
A presentation by the Texas Indigent Defense Commission was presented to Commissioners of the monitoring review results of Bell County’s Indigent Defense System. Bell County spends over $4 million in court appointed services a year. Indigent services are available to anyone that meets the income requirements.
The final plat of the “Tanglewood Amending Plat #18” was approved by Commissioners. “Tanglewood Amending Plat #18” is a one-block subdivision located within the City of Temple’s ETJ in Precinct 3.
In the consent agenda Commissioners approved bids for 24 vehicles in three county departments.
The Commissioners approved the minutes for June 12 meeting.
The county commissioners met for a workshop following the regular meeting. Regular agenda items were discussed at the workshop as well as the mention of upcoming county events.
