Tony Dominguez was born on January 11th, 1948, in Hondo, Texas to Serafin H. Dominguez and Marta G. Dominquez.

Tony spent his working years on the Railroad, starting with Santa Fe, which moved him to Houston for many years, and then to St. Louis, Missouri.  He loved his job and he loved to travel and visit friends and family. After retirement he moved back to Texas with his best friend John Cumper.  Tony almost single-handedly ran a 27 -acre ranch in Buckholts.  When it flourished, he had goats, longhorns, chickens, ducks, peacocks, and many other animals, especially his beloved pugs and many other dogs.

He was known for taking in strays and unwanted animals.  He was a stubborn, but a kind man that would turn around and give a stranger the shirt off his back. He was liked and loved by everyone, and returned those feelings, especially with his family, not having any children of his own, he was also, a second father and grandfather to Kara, Anthony, Leilani, Javier, Mila and Allaia, but all his nieces and nephews were like his own children.

He is survived by his brothers; Dan Dominguez, sisters; Martina “Lia” Ybarra and Olivia Oralia Martinez, God-son Steven Anthony “Kiddo” Martinez and many nieces and nephews.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents Serafin and Marta Dominguez, sister Beatrice Esquivel, brother David Dominguez, and best friend John Cumper.
