Frank Ortiz, 82, of Temple, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. His visitation was held on Monday, December 9, 6-8pm. Services were held on Tuesday, December 10, at 11 am. Both took take place at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial followed at North Belton Cemetery.
Mr. Ortiz was born on December 21, 1941, in Moline, TX., to parents John and Placida Ortiz.
He was a carpenter by trade. He loved to be outside making and building different things. But he also enjoyed football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and watching old westerns. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Placida Ortiz; one daughter, Rachel Alcozer; two sisters, Eloise and Lupe; and two brothers Manuel and Paul Ortiz.
He is survived by four sons, Freddie Ortiz, Fabian Ortiz, Frankie Ortiz, and C.J. Ortiz; two daughters, Cynthia Ortiz and Tina Ortiz; three brothers, Jessie, Joe, and Edward; two sisters, Mary and Amelia; and many grandchildren.
