Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 11th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Paul Luna Sr. was born on May 25th, 1941, in Three Forks, Texas to Santiago Luna and Catarina Guerra Luna.

Paul married the love of his life Oralia Minor on January 30th, 1961, in Belton, Texas where they started to raise a family.  He worked for the Bell County Road and Bridge Department, until he retired as Superintendent. However, retirement did not slow him down. While still sharing his love with his family, he also became a member of the Central Texas Sportsman’s Club and helped maintain the Ferguson Cemetery. He was very skilled at fixing and creating things. He was not afraid of hard labor, to include home repairs, electrical work, plumbing, drywall, and trim work. He truly found great joy in doing for others. He could put two things together and make something new.  He was able to combine that with his favorite hobby of fishing. Inside his complete fixit shop at the house, he would even make his own bait and lures.

Paul is survived by his wife Oralia, his son Paul “Bubba” Luna Jr., daughter, Dolores and husband Tony Ramos, Gloria and husband Pete Ramos. Sisters, Beatrice Garner, Irene Aguallo, and Louisa Trevino, Grandson Michael Ramos, Granddaughter Lori and husband Javier Suarez, and Great-Grandson Alexander “A.J.” Suarez.

He is preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Catarina Luna, sisters Mary Sunday “Maruca” Ybarra, Mary Jane Del Castillo and Margaret Vaughn.

Pallbearers: Adam Guerra, Jim Trevino, Louis Gomez, Roy Gomez, Jay Youngblood, Adam Aguilar, Robert Minor Jr., and Jacob Andrues.
