Patricia Faye Dorris, 74, of Belton, passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 1, 2024. Visitation was held Monday, September 9, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home. Graveside service followed at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Patricia was born on August 8, 1950, in Waco, TX., to parents Aubrey Dutschmann and Faye Catherine White Dutschmann.
She met and married William Dorris, Jr. on August 30, 1975. They went on to have one son, William Dorris. She was a nurse at the Temple VA Hospital for 33 years, before retiring. It was a career she loved and took much pride in.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dorris, Jr. She is survived by her son, William Dorris and wife Marcey; one brother, Lee Dutschmann, Jr.; and two sisters, Debby Price, and Shelly Edmundson.
