The Central Texas Republican Women will gather on Tuesday, November 12, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for their Annual Members meeting with a special Veterans Recognition and election of 2025 slate of officers at the Harris Community Center, 401 N. Alexander St., Belton. 

Laura Winckel of Quilts of Valor and leader of Quilters with a Heart will be the special guest speaker, highlighting the presentation of handmade patriotic quilts to honor Veterans’ service. 

In addition, Kismet Canady, President of Santa’s Workshop at the Great Place on Fort Cavazos, will speak to highlight the organization’s work supporting active-duty military and their families this Christmas season. 

The CTRW asks you to help fill the toy box with unwrapped toys for this Americanism-Armed Services project.

Tuesday’s event cost is $20 with the menu consisting of beef lasagna, Tossed Salad, Roll, Dessert, Tea and Water.

Doors open at 11 a.m., with lunch starting at 11:30 a.m.
